Program Description:
The Children's Enrichment Program is a program for children between the ages of 7 to 12, starting with four days at the Betty Ford Center. During these four days Jerry Moe, National Director of Children's Programs and his staff will conduct intensive group sessions for both parents and children. Following these four days they will return to the COAAR Center for three day after school continuing care with the staff and Executive Director of COAAR. The final day will be a private meeting with the parents, children and Director to round out the experience. Both of these programs are scheduled every other week.

Every Thursday night Alumni are invited to attend an Aftercare Meeting on an ongoing basis from 7:00 to 8:30pm at the COAAR Center.

Methodology:
Role playing, video tapes, art, books, games, slides, appropriate literature, guest speakers and other tools as deemed necessary.

Staffing:
Staffing consists of the Executive Director of the Children’s Enrichment Program, an early childhood therapist, volunteers, part-time professional counselors and outside support.
