Tony was born in Cleveland OH and was raised in an Italian/American neighborhood.

He entered television news in 1968 while attending Cleveland State University. He worked as a film editor, producer, consultant and news executive. He was a typical "news gypsy" living and working in several cities across the country.

He moved to the Coachella Valley in September 2001 where he was Vice President of News for the ABC, Fox and Telemundo TV stations for 4 years.

Tony is an alumnus of the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage CA where he volunteers and the ABC Recovery Center in Indio CA.

He has two grown children, a daughter, Alyson who is 24, and a son, Adam who is 22.
